Hey I thought I would share the website of the company that I order my solar panels from. They have the cheapest prices, trust me I have spent numerous hours looking for deals and this is the site that I found. They can even help you with grants I believe as well, which is my next step since everything I have has been purely out of pocket. sunelec.com/ This is the best site to get the panels, as for a wind turbine or grid tie inverter I would recommend searching a little bit as their prices are a bit high in those areas. Edit: Another thing about solar to keep in mind is that sure the panels are more expensive per watt than a wind turbine of equal wattage, but there is no moving parts and they are warrantied for atleast 25 years. Solar panels last quite some time. Another thing to debate is what you have where you live. If you have screaming wind then it's a good idea to invest in a turbine. If you don't then solar might be the answer. Also, for residential purposes a hybrid system is the best way. In the day time when the sun is out the solar panels will be producing more than the wind turbine possibly and at night when the wind tends to pick up the turbine will produce power when solar can't. Or thinking seasonal, in the fall and winter the wind is more intense than the spring and summer months. A hybrid system of wind and solar is a great combination to have.
